This area is full of beautiful houses and home. It is in the North York area in the City of Toronto and you can have access to everywhere from this street. Willowdale’s direction is from north of 401 highway, east of Yonge street, west of Bayview avenue, north of Sheppard avenue and south of Steeles avenue.
The real estate market in this unique location has increased more than 60% for the past seven years. Two of the most famous schools are in area of Willowdale Ave: McKee elementary school and Earl Haig high secondary school.
Access to the subway from every point of Willowdale avenue is possible with one bus. It is so close to Toronto subway line and it takes only 10 minutes walk from each point of the street to reach any of the subway stations located in this area.
Willowdale avenue is surrounded by major streets like Finch, Steeles, Yonge, Shepperd and Bayview. It is only few minutes drive to highway 401. Equifax Canada which is one of the important credit organizations is located in this area.
Most of homes in this area are detached. There are brand new houses and also many old houses up to hundreds

Mostly were bungalows or old two storey houses. When the real estate market picked up, lots of immigrants who immigrated from other countries and brought money, came to Canada and resided in Toronto. So decided to buy properties either to rebuild or buy the old, renovate and live in it. Don’t forget for any kind of building or major renovation you have to check by laws in Toronto, check with city planning and building department. You must go to building department and city planning department and ask them how to get the permits. Permits are very important. You must obey the building codes for the new houses. You might need building permits for the changes and construction. Some times renovate inside and rent it out. That affected the real estate market tremendously. Prices were going higher and higher every day. There was almost no house for sale and did not have minimum two or three offers on them.

Even though the economy in the year 2008 and 2009 was very bad in entire world, but Canada because of the strong banking system was much less affected than any other country in the world.
