Cabbagetown is an area on the East side of downtown of city of Toronto. The largest area in North America that preserved Victorian housing. The name comes from Irish Immigrants that moved to this neighbourhood about mid 1800 and they were so poor that grew cabbage in their yards. There are famous restaurants in this area. The boundaries of Cabbagetown is, South Gerrard Street, East of Parliament, South of Shuter, between Sherbourne St. and Parliament St. North of St. James Cemetery to the North, East Of Parliament St. North of Wellesley Street East, between Sherbourne st. and Parliament st. West of Sherbourne Street and East of Don River.

Also St.James Town is East of Yonge street and south of Bloor street. There are mostly rental and commercial buildings in this area.

Church and Wellesley, another very well known area in the city of Toronto. Lots of rental, condominium apartments, entertainment places and retail stores in this area. Also close to a subway station. This area is not a family oriented location.
